Indonesia Fashion Aesthetics 2026 Turns Up the Volume with “Sophisticated” Energy

Jakarta dressed up and showed up. On 10 February 2026, the ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place transformed into a cathedral of couture as Indonesia Fashion Aesthetics stepped into its third year with a theme that says it all: Sophisticated.

This year, IFA sharpened its identity as a collaborative playground for fashion, beauty, and aesthetics. The concept leaned into grown-woman glamour and polished masculinity, blending modern silhouettes with classic grace. Think refined textures, intentional tailoring, and styling that whispers prestige instead of shouting for attention.

Founder & CEO Dian Komalasary described IFA as more than a gathering. It has evolved into a benchmark for Indonesia’s high-end lifestyle scene, a place where quality and exclusivity are the entry tickets.

Three Sequences. Zero Ordinary Moments.

The runway unfolded in three sequences, each curated like a fashion trilogy.

Sequence One featured names such as Itang Yunasz x Torenda, Elva Fauqo, Lia Afif, Widhi Budimulia, Sabiluna, Okky Walla x Alben Ayub Andal, Lina Sukijo, Amapola, and Benang Jarum. The vibe moved between structured modestwear and fluid couture.

Sequence Two turned up the star wattage with ViviZubedi, Riris Ghofir, Lia Soraya, Fera Signature by Fera Ali, The She by Daisy Handayani, Gita Orlin, Rizman Ruzaini, Mazulabel, and Ayu Dyah Andari. Expect statement sleeves, intricate embellishments, and silhouettes made for grand entrances.

Sequence Three closed the night with Denny Wirawan, Eridani, Masya, Arabelle, Motif Hawa, KursienKarzai, and Buttonscarves. A finale that felt like the last note of a symphony, lingering in the air long after the lights dimmed.

When the 90s Walked Back In

Then came the nostalgia wave. Legendary 90s models returned to the runway, proving that charisma never expires. Okky Asokawati glided in Denny Wirawan. Elmo embodied Itang Yunasz. Ratih Soe wore Ayu Dyah Andari with quiet power. Danny Dahlan stepped out in Eridani. Soraya Haque and Thomas Djorghi carried Widhi Budimulia’s pieces with cinematic elegance. The runway did not just showcase clothes. It staged a reunion between eras.

The IFA Awards 2026

Elegance deserves applause. The “IFA Award 2026” honored industry figures shaping Indonesia’s creative economy. Among the standout recipients are Sebastian Gunawan as The Most Inspiring Couture Designer, Ayu Dyah Andari as The Most Inspiring Modest Fashion Designer, and ViviZubedi as The Most Fashion Figure.

More Than a Show

With Ramadan shopping momentum building, IFA 2026 also delivered a curated exhibition space, turning the event into a one-stop luxury lifestyle destination. Supported by Indonesia’s Ministry of Creative Economy and Ministry of Trade, alongside partners like BCA Syariah and Buttonscarves Beauty, IFA 2026 felt less like an event and more like a statement.

Sophisticated, yes. But also strategic, collaborative, and unmistakably Indonesian.
